He’s considered an expert in lieder and art songs to which he dedicates himself with great passion, and he’s invited for masterclasses with young singers, conductors and pianists all over the world.

In the second part of 2022, he conducted one more time Anna Netrebko and Yusif Eyvazov in their first concert in Tel Aviv and then made his debut in Otello with the Taipei Symphony Orchestra in Taiwan; was then in Wroclaw with Marina Rebeka for a Gala concert and conducted Gianni Schicchi at the Vishnevskaya Centre.

2023 started with a joyful Gala in Ravello with Vittorio Grigolo, Mariangela Sicilia and Teatro Verdi Orchestra, Salerno followed by a legendary supergala in Tokyo with Placido Domingo and Jose Carreras and another concert with Vittorio Grigolo at Suntory Hall. Later he opened the Chaliapin Festival with the new production of Barbiere di Siviglia staged by Bepi Morassi and he made his debut with Bolshoi Orchestra in a Gala before heading back to Moscow for a liederabend at the Vishnevskaya Centre.

Later he conducted 2 performances of Trovatore and Pagliacci in Kazan which were recorded by TV channel Kultura and will be broadcast in November; then he was with Vittorio Grigolo for a concert in Paros, with Ludovic Tezier and Jonathan Tetelmann at the Lubiana Festival and with Piotr Beczala in Vienna Konzerthaus for a triumphant concert with ORF Orchestra.

Recently he conducted a Gala with Piotr Beczala and the BrucknerOrchester in Linz, after recording a CD with Marina Rebeka and The Wroclaw Opera orchestra and after performing alongside superstars like Placido Domingo, Anna Netrebko, Rolando Villazon. Michael Volle, Luca Salsi, Yusif Eyvazov and Ildar Abdrazakov in the Special Gala inside Kremlin Palace in Moscow to celebrate Anna Netrebko’s 50th birthday.
In 2021 he was in Japan with Vittorio Grigolo for 2 long and highly acclaimed tours, he recorded a CD of Verismo Arias with Piotr Beczala and Valencia Opera Orchestra for Pentatone, returned to Moscow at the Vishnevskaya Centre for the Carmen new production and closed the year at the Chaliapin Festival for the
premiere of Pagliacci.
Previously he was busy recording a CD of Duets with Yusif Eyvazov and Rossana Rinaldi and another one with Carlo Colombara with Opera Scenes by Wagner, Massenet, Verdi and Rossini before conducting 2 Galas in Zagreb with Maria Gulegina and Yusif Eyvazov and the new production of Macbeth in Rijeka with Giorgio Surjan.
Between 2017 and 2018 he repeatedly appeared at Broadstage Hall, Santa Monica, Los Angeles, conducting
Big stars like Anna Netrebko, Piotr Beczala, Vittorio Grigolo, Michael Fabiano, Yusif Eyvazov and Carmen Giannattasio with the L.A. Opera enjoying each time a resounding success. He continued his collaboration with the couple Netrebko/Eyvazov conducting them in Kazan, Marbella and at Beiteddine Festival in Lebanon. He was on the podium for the reopening of Tbilisi Opera with Aida and in Belgrade for the new Don Giovanni staged by Alberto Triola. In those years he first appeared at the very prestigeous Vishnevskaya Centre in Moscow and Rostropovic Centre in Sochi, both directed by Olga Rostropovic, conducting Rigoletto and Boheme.
In the previous years he conducted Lucrezia Borgia in Munich with Edita Gruberova: Traviata and a Schumann concert for the winter season of Arena di Verona; Don Pasquale, Tabarro and Pagliacci at the Finnish Opera; l’amico Fritz at San Carlo in Napoli; Traviata and Rigoletto with Giusi Devinu, Renato Bruson and Marcello Giordani at Sferisterio in Macerata; Falstaff with Renato Bruson, Carmen with Elena Zaremba, Neil Shicoff and Ildar Abdrazakov, Romèo et Juliette with Giuseppe Sabbatini and Stefania Bonfadelli, Tosca with Vincenzo la Scola, Favorita with Giuseppe Sabbatini, Mariana Pencheva, Roberto Frontali and Bonaldo Giaiotti inTokyo; the new production of Pique Dame and an highly acclaimed concert version of Porgy and Bess at Chaliapin Festival; Attila with Ildar Abdrazakov for the world opening of Astana Opera; Werther in Bilbao and Lecce with Giuseppe Sabbatini and Katia Ricciarelli and then Aida in Rovigo, Pisa and Livorno; Turandot in Bogotà; Tosca in Leon, Mexico; Carmen in Split; Nabucco in Lima; Boheme in Bucarest.
Among the countless concerts with orchestra a special mention to the ones with Ildar Abdrazakov at Royal Oman Opera; with Renato Bruson in Tokyo for his 35 years of career and in Palermo for his 50 years of career; with Daniela Dessì and Fabio Armiliato in Verona with an all Puccini program, coming at the end of the recording of 2 CDs with Arena di Verona Orchestra; with Vincenzo la Scola for the opening of the Rome Opera summer season in Caracalla and in GendarmenMarkt in Berlin; with Giuseppe Sabbatini, Renato Bruson, Daniela Dessì, Fabio Armiliato and Vincenzo la Scola in the long and repeated tours in Japan; with Josè Bros in San Paolo; with Carlo Colombara at Varna Festival; with Yusif Eyvazov in Parma Regio theatre and of course the Pavarotti and friends in 1998 with the participation among others of Celine Dion, Natalie Cole, Spice girls, Bon Jovi, Stevie Wonder.
Among the equally numerous concerts with piano, the most significant were the ones with Daniela Dessì in Scala with music by Puccini, Faurè and Debussy; with Renato Bruson in Suntory Hall dedicated to Tosti; with Stefania Bonfadelli and Giuseppe Sabbatini in Musikverein; with Alfonso Antoniozzi at Rossini Opera Festival; with Antonino Siragusa, Giuseppe Sabbatini and Carlo Colombara at Wigmore Hall in London; with Mariella Devia and Giuseppe Sabbatini at Salle Gaveau in Parisi and at Donizetti Festival and a triumphant liederabend in Berlino and then in a japanese tour with Giuseppe Sabbatini and music by Strauss, Ravel, Falla and Zandonai.
